·       Omnipotent: Rev 19:6,

·       Omniscient: the state of having total knowledge, the quality of knowing everything (1John 3:20)

Ø    Ps 147:5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

The worship God demands: Deu 6:4-5 with Mark 12:28-29

·       Micah 6:6-8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

·       Isa 51:17, 57:15;

Often” the attributes of God” are used to define Him. The “attributes” are defined and then applied to God. In truth They do not define God. God defines them.

Righteousness * Holiness * Mercy * Grace, graciousness * Jealous Goodness * Truth, truthfulness * Just, Justice * * Love

    We can define these words comparing man to man. One man may be holier than another; one man may be more merciful than another. In truth is no holiness apart for God because God is holiness and righteousness. God is perfect perfection.

   Compare Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God with Isa 42:8-12 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another . . .

Deu 4:24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.

Deu 29:29 * Isa 45:22 * Jer 32:17-19 * 1John 4:8,16

Isa 37:15-20 the prayer of Hezekiah

Is it possible to express the true nature of God in words?

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: (18) Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name, (19) Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for thine eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
