Question: Do we truly by faith believe Rom 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” ?
Do we truly believe 1Cor 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”?
· Job will learn that it was best for him that God turned him over to the ungodly and placed him in the hand of the wicked than if Job had never suffered.

Read Job 19:21-22 These verses are key in understanding Job’s increasingly hard attitude toward his friends that led his hardening attitude toward God.
V19:23-27 The confusion within Job: the battle between the truth he knew in his heart with the emotions of a bitter, suffering, falsely persecuted by men, “forced”’ to continue to suffer through God’s providence.
In V13:36 Job saw that these men were making a written record of their false accusations against Job. He wanted to set the record straight
V23-24 Job wanted a permanent copy of his words written down and preserved for ever.
What words did Job want all including us to read for ever. Everything he had said in response to his three “friends”
· He wanted all to know what these men were doing V13:4, 7. They were speaking wickedly and deceitfully for God by forging lies against Job. Deu 5:11
· V1:21b the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. 1Thes 5:18
· Job 16:11 with 9:17 and 13:18 “I have done nothing that caused God to deliver me to the ungodly and turn me over to the hands of the wicked. And, I know I will be justified”
· 9:4 if Job had erred he still had the redeemer.
Vs 25-27 Why did Job want his words written and preserved? Job wanted all, including his three friends and us, to know it didn’t matter what the world said, or if he had committed the unknown sin he had a living redeemer! And He would see him in a resurrected body with his own eyes.
· Isa 54:4-5 and Same One of 1Peter 1:19-20)
***Job knew he could not stand justified on his own; he knew he had to have a redeemer.
· Righteousness was accounted unto Job before it was said of Abraham in Ex 15:6. For the same reason: their faith
· We will be with Him (1Tim 2:11-12)

V19:28 with V22 Job ask why do they persecute him as God they should now see or realize the root of the matter is found in me?
The root of the matter:
· 1;1; 2:3 Job feared God and eschewed evil
· 9:20-21 Job knew he could not declare himself perfect
· 9:4 And be it indeed that I have erred, mine error remaineth with myself.
· 13:5 with 27:5 Job within his heart he was innocent of what the three men accused him of.
· He knew God had placed him in the hand of the wicked
· He would answer only to God for his actions.
· 13:6 with 19:25 within Job was the knowledge of his salvation from God.
· It seemed Job had the same confidence in his salvation that we may have in ours through Jesus Christ (Phil 1:6)
V19:29 with 13:7, 10-12 In 13:10-12 Job warned they will be reproved for speaking wickedly and deceitfully for God (using God’s name in vain). In this verse Job warns them about their undo wrath against him. God’s judgment is that their actions will be punished. Job warned them to be afraid of God and his punishment.

Job is caught in the middle between of the judgment of these men and God’s judgment.
These men had judged Job to be a wicked, crafty, deceitful man of bribery and God punishment had come upon him.
God had judged Job to be perfect, a man who loved Him and eschewed evil. And His judgment was to put him in the had of the wicked to achieve a desired end.
