Our life in Christ is eternal; the punishment of those apart from Christ is also eternal.

Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:

·       V30 identified blaspheme against the Holy Ghost as those men in V22 who ascribed the work of the Holy Ghost to that of Beelzebub [1Cor 12:3, Titus 3:5-6]

·       John 5:29 they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Mat 18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

·       Mark 9:43 into the fire that never shall be quenched:

·       Mat 5:29 be cast into hell.

·       Jude 1:7  .  .  . suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

·       Revelation 20:10,14-15 Torments of the lake of fire is for ever.
